AppealPilotTerms of Service

Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AppealPilot (“we”, “us”, “our”), accessible at appealpilot.app. By using AppealPilot you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What AppealPilot is

AppealPilot is an AI-powered tool that analyzes Indian insurance claim rejection letters against IRDAI regulations and, optionally, drafts a formal appeal letter for submission to the insurer's Grievance Redressal Officer or the Insurance Ombudsman.

The service delivers a one-time digital output (analysis and/or appeal letter) in response to the documents you upload. There is no ongoing subscription or advisory relationship.

2. Not legal advice

AppealPilot does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm.

The analysis and appeal letter generated by AppealPilot are informational tools only. They are produced by AI and have not been reviewed by a licensed lawyer or insurance advisor. Nothing in the output constitutes legal advice, creates a lawyer-client relationship, or should be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel.

Before taking formal legal action — including filing with the Insurance Ombudsman or a Consumer Forum — we recommend consulting a licensed insurance advisor or legal professional.

3. No guarantee of outcome

AppealPilot assesses the apparent strength of your grounds for appeal based on the documents you provide and publicly available IRDAI regulations. This assessment is not a prediction of outcome. The outcome of any appeal depends on specific facts, documentation, the insurer's response, and the discretion of any adjudicating authority.

We make no representation that using AppealPilot will result in a successful appeal, claim settlement, or any other outcome.

4. AI-generated content

The analysis and appeal letter are generated by an AI language model (Anthropic Claude). AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing the output before submitting any document to an insurer, ombudsman, or court.

In particular: verify all dates, names, policy numbers, claim amounts, and cited regulations before submission. Do not submit the appeal letter as received without filling in the highlighted fields and confirming factual accuracy.

5. Eligibility and permitted use

You may use AppealPilot if you are:

  • An individual policyholder or their authorised representative dealing with an Indian insurance claim.
  • At least 18 years of age.

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents that do not relate to an Indian insurance claim or that you do not have the right to submit.
  • Attempt to circumvent the payment system or rate limits.
  • Use the service to generate content for fraudulent insurance claims.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the output without our written permission.
  • Submit prompt injection or adversarial content intended to manipulate the AI output.

6. Payment and pricing

AppealPilot offers a free preliminary assessment and the following paid tiers:

  • Full Claim Analysis — $3.99 USD
  • Appeal Letter — $1.99 USD (after analysis)
  • Analysis + Appeal Letter bundle — $4.99 USD

Prices are shown in USD. An approximate INR equivalent is displayed on the site using a live exchange rate for reference only — the charge to your card will be in USD at the rate applied by your card issuer.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored on AppealPilot servers.

7. Delivery

AppealPilot delivers your analysis immediately upon payment confirmation — typically within 60 seconds. Delivery is deemed complete when the analysis is displayed in your browser session.

Because AppealPilot does not store your documents or results, once you close your browser session your results are permanently gone. We strongly recommend downloading the PDF or sending the analysis to your email before closing the page.

8. Refunds

Our refund policy is set out in full at appealpilot.app/refund. In summary: refunds are available for technical non-delivery, duplicate charges, and wrong tier charged. Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with AI-generated content once the analysis has been delivered.

9. Intellectual property

The AppealPilot platform, branding, and underlying software are our intellectual property. The analysis and appeal letter generated for you are provided for your personal use in connection with your insurance claim. You may not resell or publish the output commercially.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AppealPilot's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific analysis or appeal letter giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of claim proceeds, legal costs, or any outcome of your insurance appeal.

11. Deadlines — your responsibility

Insurance appeal deadlines are your responsibility. In particular:

  • The Insurance Ombudsman requires filing within 1 year of the insurer's final rejection.
  • Consumer Forum limitation periods apply under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

AppealPilot does not monitor or remind you of deadlines. Do not delay your appeal while awaiting or reviewing an AppealPilot analysis.

12. Privacy

Your documents are processed in memory and never stored on our servers. Our full data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of AppealPilot after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
